I SWEAR I never liked elves. Well, I do, but not from Tolkien's side.
But I gotta admit that the way they portrayed Thranduil conquered my heart. And of course Lee Pace has A LOT to do with that. Although in this picture the guy looks like everybody but him... LOL

This is both lovely and chilling. I think the scene where Thranduil reveals his scars is one of the most interesting addition to the Desolation of Smaug. Your rendition is beautiful.
